Crane Clan Status
While all of the clans are still recovering from the Clan War and the War Against Shadow, there are a number of issues that continue to trouble the Crane: The recent civil war, the Second Yasuki war, and the devastation caused by great sea spider have put the Crane in a bind physically, both in terms of production and population, and the fact that the Emperor does not have a Crane bride has hampered them socially. This is not to say that the clan is weak by any means (certainly no more than the others from the recent conflicts), but they are currently focusing on rebuilding the families, finalizing the repairs on their lands, and defending their eternal hold on the courts.
